- What is the PTO? PTO stands for Parent Teacher Organization.
- What is the PTO’s mission? The mission of PTO is to foster a spirit of cooperation and communication among all members of our school community and to help develop a closer relationship between home and school.
- Why join the PTO? Being a member of the PTO easily keeps you in touch with your children’s activities during the school year. Your PTO membership dues enhance the educational facilities and opportunities for the students that are not otherwise provided for in the school budget. Because of your membership and involvement we are able to keep valuable programs available, such as Field Day, Catholic School Week, and Enrichments Programs, just to name a few.
- Who benefits? Our children!!! Plus, there are two SCHOLARSHIPS awarded to the 8th grade students, one boy and one girl. The PTO scholarships are only awarded to children of PTO members
- PTO membership is $15.00 per family. With your membership you will receive a PTO handbook access to the online school directory with the names, addresses, and phone numbers, and email addresses of all the families at St. John the Baptist School and a handy PTO “Note to School” pad or a car magnet.
