Last week our third graders braved the cold and rainy weather for a Maple Sugaring field trip at Caldwell Park.

Our kindergarten students had a special visit from Dr. Yauss who talked about the importance of good dental care. One student dressed up as the dentist!

Earlier this trimester the Cincinnati Museum Center presented Uncovering Egypt to our 6th graders. They participated in hands-on demonstrations of archaeological techniques, explored a mock excavation site from Egypt and learned to identify a culture based on artifacts discovered.

Our 8th graders brought in $1 each to wear their future school spirit wear today. These 33 students will attend 8 different high schools next year! Each year the 8th grade class collects out of uniform money to pay for the framing of their St. John's class t-shirt. St. John's families and students donated money and baby items during Catholic Schools Week for Pregnancy Center West.
