The 2nd Graders went on a field trip to the Krohn Conservatory on Thursday, to see the Butterfly Show. They have been learning about insects throughout the month of May. They had a lot of fun observing the butterflies and even had some land on them.

Mrs. Sander and Mr. Acito's homerooms had the largest Box Tops/Tyson Label collections of the year and were treated to Kona Ice this afternoon.

The fourth and fifth graders served ice cream sundaes and popsicles as a service project.  They donated the proceeds to The Dragonfly Foundation, whose mission is to bring comfort and joy to kids, young adults, and their families enduring cancer and bone marrow transplants. The students enjoyed working so they could help others.  This project was connected with learning about the Corporal and Spiritual Works of Mercy.  The students had a chance to put their faith into action.
