The 2015-16 Student Council sponsored its annual food drive through late October into early November. Through the generosity of the students and families of St. John's, Student Council was able to collect boxes upon boxes of food and personal hygiene products for the Corpus Christi Food Pantry - 1098 lbs!

Lance Long with the University of Cincinnati Police Department brought his explosive detecting dog to St. John the Baptist School on Friday, November 6, 2015. Dozer is a yellow lab about 18 months old who just finished training and will work all sporting events at UC as well as help several police departments in the area. Mr. Long gave demonstration with Dozer and answered student questions.

Sixth grade students used chicken eggs to study diffusion and osmosis. They measured the mass and circumference of the chicken eggs, used vinegar to dissolve the shell, and then put the eggs in different liquids to see which liquids would cross the cell membrane.
