After 17 years, Firefighter Mike Hayes visits the kindergarten class in October for the last time to teach students about fire safety. Mr. Hayes is the husband of kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Donna Hayes. This was his last visit to the kindergarten class as he recently retired from being a fire fighter/paramedic. The kindergarten class would like to extend a special “thank you” to Mr. Hayes for a wonderful job helping the students to learn about fire safety, and for letting them try on his fire gear!
