Congratulations to Mrs. Flick's 5th and 6th grade Accelerated Math "mathletes" who excelled at the county-wide Math Competition! The team of Chrissy C., Andy T., Alex T. and Jake S. earned an outstanding rating. The team of MacKenzie M., Brianna B., Allen R., and Josh C. earned a superior rating. The team of Mike T., Josh M., Ryan T. and Ethan R. earned not only a superior rating but also a Judges Choice award for their solution to a geometry problem. Our students also dominated the Rubik’s cube competitions. In the novice category, Ethan R. took second place, and Mike T. finished in third place. In the expert category, Andy T. won second, Alex T. won third, and Jake S. won fourth. In the team competition, the St. John’s team of Andy, Alex, Mike, Jake, and Ethan beat out all of the other schools.
