On April 6, the 7
th Grade went to Matthew 25 Ministries for their grade level service project. There, they removed excess packaging from cases of personal cleansing wipes and placed individual packs in bins for shipping to those in need. We’d never seen so many of those wipes! There were cases and cases of them. It did our hearts good to see that they were not going to waste. Students enjoyed working together on this job saying it was “oddly addictive.” In addition to the work, they also went on an educational tour to learn more about the work of Matthew 25 Ministries. The tour includes 3-D scenes displaying what the aftermath of natural disasters and poverty-stricken places where Matthew 25 sends aid are like.
