Seventh grade students from St. John the Baptist School traveled to Guilford Covered Bridge Park in Guilford, IN to learn about the Ohio River watershed. Under the guidance of the Ohio River Foundation, students performed various water quality tests on Tanners Creek, which drains into the Ohio River. Students also collected and identified macroinvertebrates and fish from the creek to determine the health of the creek. Students learned about different things they can do to protect the Ohio River, the source of our drinking water.
